Social Media

The Social Media page is where you can add your social media handles. When these fields are populated, the clickable logo links on the footer of your website will take visitors to those sites (pictured below). When entering your handle, make sure to remove any links or @ symbols so the links will take customers to the appropriate pages.

Example of Social Media icons on the footer of your site pages

Facebook

The Facebook handle is typically a username that appears after facebook.com/ in the URL. For example, in the URL for https://www.facebook.com/offsetpartners, you would enter offsetpartners

Instagram

The Instagram handle is the name after the @ symbol in @username. For example, in the username @offsetpartners, you would enter offsetpartners

Tiktok

The Tiktok handle is the name after the @ symbol in @username. For example, in the username @offsetpartners, you would enter offsetpartners

Pinterest

The Pinterest username is the name that appears in the URL after pinterest.com/. For example, in the URL https://www.pinterest.com/offestpartners/, you would enter offsetpartners

Youtube

The YouTube handle is typically the name that appears at the end of the unique URL for your channel. There are different formats of channel URLs based on the convention that was in place when you set up your account, so you may need to visit the handle page noted below for more information. For most users, you can find the handle by opening the YouTube app, and viewing your channel URL and the handle will be the name that appears after youtube.com/@. For example, in the URL www.youtube.com/@offsetpartners the handle would be offsetpartners.

NOTE: You can also view all URLs associated with your YouTube channel by logging into your account and visiting the following page: https://www.youtube.com/handle.

X

For X (formerly Twitter), the handle is the name after the @ symbol in @username. For example, in the username @offsetpartners, you would enter offsetpartners

Social Sharing

The Social Sharing features add text and imagery when you share a link in a text message or post on social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. This enhancement can help boost engagement with your brand by adding visual appeal to your links. We recommend using this feature for various promotions including blog posts, announcing new products on your store pages, or enhancing your text message marketing with a supporting image. Once you add the information to these fields, it will display the next time you share your link on social or via text message marketing.

NOTE: To preview your social share image, you can send yourself a text message with a link to your website.

Social Sharing Title

This is the description text that will appear when you post a link to your website pages on social media.

Example: Offset Winery

Social Sharing Description

This is the description text that will appear when you post a link to your website pages on social media.

Example: Offset Winery is a wine company specializing in Syrah from the Napa Valley. Sign up today!

Open Graph

This is where you can add an image for use in social posts or text message marketing. Upload an eye-catching image that represents your brand with minimal text that will appear in text messages and social media when you post a link to your website. The social media platforms recommend using images 1200 x 630 pixels for optimized social previews. If you are primarily using text message marketing, you can use a smaller image of around 500 x 500 pixels to optimize the image for mobile use.
