All admin pages in Figure have a top section which contains access points to each page throughout the account. 

The Dashboard page provides quick access points for the three most highly used pages, Orders, Customers, and Products.

It also provides an aggregate of Order alerts over the last 365 days, providing quick access for your team to stay on top of pressing client issues (“Not Shipped” orders, “Disputed Charge” orders, “Not Compliant” orders, etc).

Below that are overviews of daily sales, customer alerts, and new customer sign ups.

The Dashboard is a good bookmarked launching point to start any admin session at login.
