They are one time use codes per client that can be set to active or inactive status. The most common usage is for first time orders, special deals related to events, and even discounts to offset shipping charges. The codes can be set to discount based on a fixed dollar amount or a percentage. You will also be able to set a start and end date to the codes if you want to base them around say holiday weekend offers.
