This is the fourth article in a five-part series covering the process of building an allocation offer in Offset Commerce.

Once your Allocation setup is completed, you will want to log into your Test Group as if you were one of your customers to make sure the path to purchase is free from any errors. If you haven’t already done so, assign yourself to the Test Group and sign in as a customer on the website so you can view the allocation. Here are some suggested areas to review:

1. Check the website copy, products, and allocation messaging free from any typos or formatting errors.

2. Verify that the product Format, Price, Purchase, and Wish are correct.

3. Add some wines and wishes to your cart and select the Continue button to view the checkout pages.

4. (Optional) Remove your credit card from your account before your test and add a credit card on the Billing page to ensure it is saving correctly.

5. Add additional Ship to addresses so you can test with multiple States

6. View the Requested Ship Dates to make sure they match your shipping schedule.

NOTE: Enter multiple shipping addresses into your test account so that you can see the Ship Dates and Rates for Multiple states.

IMPORTANT: Make sure and click the Shipping, Transfer, and Pickup options to check each one individually.

7. Confirm the shipping Rates are calculated correctly and the Shipping Descriptions display the appropriate messaging.

8. Review the Order Details to ensure Subtotal, Delivery, Tax, etc. are correct.

9. (Optional) Complete a test order by selecting the Securely Place Order button.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to Cancel your order after you have had a chance to review the details of your order.

NOTE: If this is your first allocation, or you want to test, send the order to ShipCompliant or Fulfillment on the orders page.
