We recommend looping in your rep when interacting with FedEx during this process.

You will need to buy a self-adhesive 4 x 6 label printer.

Zebra makes models that are good for PC computer setups.

HP makes a version that is wireless and good with Mac computer setups:

Winery/Retailer logs in to their FedEx shipping account via “Step 1 – Documentation & Downloads” on the above page.

Download the current version of the FedEx Web Services Label Certification Guide PDF.

Page 11 of that document needs to be filled out, called the “Web Integration Solutions Label Evaluation Cover Sheet.” This is an example of page 11:

You will need to collect the following through that portal after logging in…

>Are you using Third Party Solution? = Yes

>Third Party Solution Name = Figure Commerce

Company Name Associated with FedEx Account:

Company Contact Name:

Email Address:

Printer Brands and Model Numbers (be specific):

How many printer units you use:

>Label Image Type = ZPL

>Services Requested = FedEx Express and FedEx Ground

Beyond what is required to fill out “Page 11” we will also need the following…

Finding all those/getting them generated are a time-consuming steps. This is where your rep or the support phone number above might help. Below are some examples (screenshots and emails) that were sent to us by other clients, for reference on what they look like.

During this process, anytime you get an email from FedEx with codes, passwords, or credentials, please forward them on to our team.

With all those details, we are then able to create “test shipping labels” and send them back to you. Those will need to be printed out using your new Zebra or HP label printer, then you scan those and save them as image files, and you will submit those along with that completed form.

The scanned images of the test labels need to be saved as .png files.

Copy our team and your FedEx rep when sending the labels and the Page 11 form to:

The FedEx team then approves or denies the submission. In the past, we have seen 2-3 corrections that need to be made before approval is granted.

Once approved, you should be able to get the Production Credentials from the same place as you got the Test Credentials previously. Other times, that label submission team from FedEx just has the email sent to you with those Production Credentials. If your FedEx rep is helping you through this process, they might be able to provide those credentials.

This step however seems to be a crux of their operation, something that rarely is easy to get confirmed/sent. That email includes these two pieces that allow our team to make the connection...

Production URL:

Production API Password:

A difficulty of this entire process is that many of these details come in 2-4 different emails from FedEx.
