It can be done. 

Let’s say your winery is attending a tasting event and you want to promote that event. You can embed a link into your order transaction emails or even into the new signup welcome email.

Go to your Settings>Emails page.

Here is an example of the code you need to enter to hide the link behind the text:
<a href="http://bergamotalley.com/seven-percent-solution/">Seven % Solution</a>

**Very Important**—Of course you have to update the unique URL and the name of the event as you want it to appear to match your desired event.

For example, if your winery was pouring at Seven % Solution the text block would look like this:

<a href="http://bergamotalley.com/seven-percent-solution/">Seven % Solution</a> Join us for an outrageous tasting event on July 22. We are pouring, our wine is delicious, you’ll leave with a smile. Small victories are important in life.

Or if your winery is attending IPNC in Oregon, this is how it could look:

<a href="https://ipnc.org/">IPNC</a> is the best celebration of Pinot Noir in the USA, and we are going to be there. Join us for the salmon bake and many other memorable events over this 3 Day weekend!

You can test this out very easily by building a link with the code into your new customer sign up email text block. Then create a new account in your customer list, say with a personal email address, and see the message appear in your inbox.
