For ShipCompliant users, if you process a Compliance check in error, you have the option to bypass the compliance check and save the order to Shipcompliant.

When an order fails compliance will have a red banner at the top of the orders page:

“✓ Ship Compliant Error: …”

To bypass the compliance check and submit the order to ShipCompliant, go to ACTIONS and select the “Save to Ship Compliant Bypass Compliance Check” button.

If the process is successful, you will see a green banner at the top of the page saying “✓ Order #XXXX has been saved without compliance check." The red banner will clear and the order will be saved to ShipCompliant without any compliance checks.

In Offset, the order’s Compliance Status will change to “Not Checked” and the use of the feature will be recorded in the Activity Log.

When you view the order in Shipcompliant, you will see that it has a status of “Compliance Unverified. This will mean that the order does not have any compliance results on record.

Before using this feature, please talk to your compliance and fulfillment specialists to make sure that using this feature is appropriate for your business. In some cases where compliance is required for fulfillment, bypassing compliance may prevent orders from being shipped by your fulfillment partner.
